PROline Mobil has been designed for automated inspection of rotational symmetrical parts with freely accessible bore diameter. Laser welds or electron beam welds of gears could be inspected. The charge and discharge happens manually. By using an adaptable part-fixture, different types of parts could be inspected.

The different ultrasonic-setups for each part-type are saved in the ultrasonic test instrument or in the PC which is connected to the PROline USB-Box.  These inspection settings can be loaded automatically selecting with a rotary switch.

The inspection system LINERCHECK serves for the determination of the rest wall thickness at poured, processed sockets in engine blocks. Withal on two different positions wall thicknesses are determined semi-automatically and recorded. The test mechanics is slid in and fixed perpendicularly into the socket to be measured so that the middle axis of the test mechanics is identical with the one of the socket. In this position, a removal of the test mechanics from the socket, must no longer be possible since the probes must lie at the socket surface at this time. Before starting to inspect a component, the system operator enters the batch number and the quantity of sockets to be checked. The test mechanics is then fixed in the socket. After pressing the button "test start socket 1" the measuring data acquisition is started until it is stopped by a final switch automatically after 360°. 10 measurements per second are taken.
After completion of the tests on all sockets the minimal wall thickness of the individual drillings is shown and made recognizable to the operator at shortfall of the demanded wall thickness in the display. The readings (minimal or maximum wall thickness) are saved in a file and can be printed in paper form.
