We can provide all conventional non-destructive testing services, as well as mechanised and automated ultrasonic testing, in your company, or in our testing centre.

Our definition of service is all-encompassing. It does not just include inspecting incoming and outgoing products, checking dimensions, quality control for mass-produced goods and special testing methods. To us, organising all the logistical processes required is also a matter of course.

Crack depth measuring is carried out with either ultrasound or the direct current potential probe method for determination of the crack extension and crack progress. With knowledge of the crack depth it may be decided with what methods the crack may be removed. Only if the crack has been reworked and the constructive reliable minimum section is still present, the part may be continuned to use.

Thermography is a non-contact measuring method. By means of thermography temperature measurements are compehensively recorded and depicted.

Thermography is very often used in non-destructive material and part testing (NDT). Normally the test object is heated specifically by means of excitation source so that hidden defects are becoming measureable through different thermal behaviour.

Pulse thermography, lock-in thermography and thermoelastic stress analysis are also NDT-methods. Special fast and high resolution infrared cameras are used for the execution of these methods.

VOGT carry out layer thickness measurements within the scope of production control and quality assurance for the determination of thicknesses of paint, enamel, plastic and other coatings on iron and non-ferrous basis materials. Testing can be carried out non destructively with sensor technology, eddy current or ultrasound, for example by positioning a probe on the part.

Our team has years of practical experience in nondestructive material testing. That is why we offer training programs and workshops with our various facets of ultrasonics know-how. One of our specialities is mechanized and automated ultrasonic testing with immersion technique.

Due to our own use of in-process production inspections, our qualified and certified staff is capable of adapting quickly to the individual needs of the training participants.
